We’re excited to introduce Senior Dory Princess Avery Johnson and Junior Dory Princess Evie Stuart, and honored to welcome Steve Johnson as our 2025 Grand Marshal!
“As I roll off the last swell, leaving the beach and all that behind, I look out to sea—excited for what’s ahead. It’s kinda like Christmas morning. So let’s celebrate Christmas in July!”
— Randy Haltiner, “Hi Tide”
At its heart, Christmas in July is about joy, nostalgia, and togetherness—everything that makes both Christmas and summer vacations with the family special. It’s all about bringing the joy and festive spirit of the holiday season to the warmth and sunshine of summertime. It’s a playful way to mix winter holiday cheer with summer activities—think Santa in sunglasses, beachside caroling, and holiday treats with a tropical twist.
To capture the spirit of the season, our Dory Days graphic this year features none other than Santa Claus in the “Hi Tide” being towed by elk flying right over the top of our own haystack rock. Who knows? You might even see Santa in the parade this year!
During Dory Days, it’s truly all hands on deck! This beloved event wouldn’t be possible without the incredible energy and dedication of our amazing volunteers. Sign up today to be part of the our incredible crew—and you’ll get an exclusive festival t-shirt as a thank-you!
We couldn’t do it without the generous support of our Sponsors!
The money we raise during Dory Days is shared between two amazing local organizations—The Pacific City Doryman’s Association and the Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce—who team up to organize and host this amazing community event.
The Pacific City Doryman’s Association uses the money to fund programs such as scholarships and community service projects. The Pacific City-Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce uses funds raised to support community initiatives and the Pacific City welcome center.
