About Dory Days
Dory Days is an annual celebration of the local dory fishing culture unique to Pacific City, Oregon. Recognized by the Oregon Heritage Commission as an Oregon Heritage Tradition, this vibrant festival brings locals and visitors together each year on the third weekend of July. Hosted by the Pacific City–Nestucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Pacific City Dorymen’s Association, Dory Days honors the history, culture, and future of the dory fleet.

This year holds special significance as 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the United States, and our Dory Days theme “Long May She Wave” celebrates both our nation’s heritage and the enduring spirit of this coastal tradition.
We invite you to help keep this legacy thriving.
